SPIRIT CST

Overview

SPIRIT's extensive experience in voiceband communication software development (including telephony signaling, fax transmission, data modems) allows us to offer wide range of DSP implementations of algorithms used in these areas. Most of these implementations (components) are integrated into solutions or bundles. The software complies with all actual recommendations. It is thoroughly developed, well-optimized for most popular DSP platforms (the list of platforms is provided for each component) and has very simple and convenient API.

SPIRIT CST Software

Texas Instruments, the world leading DSP manufacturer, selected SPIRIT to implement most popular voiceband communication algorithms to be built-in into a single chip. This bundle of algorithms was named Client Side Telephony (CST) Software. CST Software consists of several eXpressDSP compliant telephony components and a special CST Framework, which ties them together and provides unified access to each of them. CST Software is ROM'ed into TMS320C54CST DSP chip from Texas Instruments. Using the C54CST platform significantly reduces expenses and time needed to develop client side telephony devices (see the list of the CST-based solutions).
